Areas of Expertise and Academic Programmes
Diploma of Hospitality Management – this Level 5 qualification will equip students with theory and practical skills needed for real world management role in the hospitality and travel industry. The two years of study include 9 months of fully paid internship to provide students with real life experience. Students will also receive a joint Swiss and Australian degree from ICMS Australia in association with Cesar Ritz, Switzerland. There is an option of obtaining a Bachelor of Business degree after completing one more year at ICMS or Cesar Ritz.

Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management – this Level 5 qualification covers the knowledge and skills required for successful operation and management of adventure activities. There is also a unique opportunity to specialize in Snowsports Business Management, the only diploma of its kind offered in New Zealand. Students also have an opportunity to complete their degree at Thompson Rivers University (BC, Canada) or ICMS in Australia.

Admissions Requirements

Halls of Residence
Students are encouraged to stay in the QRC Hall of Residence at least in their first two terms of study. This is a great way to learn to live independently in a comfortable and supportive environment. Students can choose to stay in a single or shared room. All rooms are fully furnished with a fridge, TV and ensuite bathroom. Meals are provided. Excellent communal facilities offer multiple opportunities to socialise, including a tennis course, fitness centre, a kitchen and lounge areas.

Learning Environment
QRC students enjoy high quality facilities and unique learning environment. The College occupies a five-storied building overlooking the Queenstown Gardens. Students’ learning is supported by modern resources and facilities that enhance their study experience. The College maintains high industry standards and provides students with a uniform making them feel and look professional. International students have a lot of support from the College staff who can help them on any academic and day-to-day issues.
After successful completion of the two year diploma course, international students can apply for a 1 year Graduate Job Search visa.
