Whitireia New Zealand (previously: Whitireia Community Polytechnic) is a New Zealand government owned and funded tertiary institute of technology established in 1986. The institute offers over 130 different courses and programmes, from short courses and introductory level certificates to national diplomas, undergraduate degrees and postgraduate certificates.
Whitireia New Zealand has a remarkable spread across the country. The institute’s original campus is located in Porirua, 20 minutes from Wellington City, with satellite grounds located in Wellington, Kāpiti and Auckland.
